Yeast Cake Recipe (kamir)
Yeast cakes, a typical Pemalang snack, are creations of Arab snacks. Yeast cakes are round, flat brown in color similar to apem cakes. Yeast cakes are made from flour dough, margarine, tape, eggs, yeast, sugar and milk. It's so easy to make.
Ingredients
- Cassava tape, mashed - 200 grams
- Wheat flour - 200 grams
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Egg - 1 egg
- Yeast - 4 grams
- Liquid milk - 200 ml
- Margarine - to taste
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils
Plans
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl, mixer until smooth and cover then leave for ± 1 hour.
- Heat and grease the mold with margarine, use low heat.
- Pour the mixture into the mold, then cover and let the bottom side cook. Then flip until both sides are golden brown.
- Lift and serve.
- When pouring the dough into the mold do not be too full, because the dough will expand a little and will be easier to turn over.
