Teflon Milk Cheese Sweet Martabak Recipe
Martabak is one of the foods that are usually served when getting together with family or friends. Because the portions are super large, it's rare for this snack to be eaten alone. In Indonesia, there are two kinds of martabak, namely sweet martabak and egg martabak. Sweet martabak is made from a mixture of flour, eggs, and sugar which is topped with various toppings such as meses, cheese, sweetened condensed milk, sesame, and peanuts. Meanwhile, egg martabak is made from chicken or duck egg mixture which is consumed with pickles, soy sauce or curry sauce. Sweet martabak is believed to have come from Bangka Belitung which was originally called Hok Lo Pan. Instead of using the word “sweet martabak”, many street vendors sell their martabak under the name “martabak Bangka” because this name seems to be more familiar among the people.
