Shrimp Potato Fried Sambal Recipe
Shrimp and diced fried potatoes are a delicious pairing for fried chili sauce. Shrimp that are still skinned will be more delicious for this dish because it will make the seasoning/sambal more sticky. Potatoes should also be fried first so that they are cooked and do not crumble when cooked.
Ingredients
- Medium size prawns, heads removed - 100 grams
- Potatoes, cut into cubes and then fried until cooked - 250 grams
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Citrus leaves - 2 pieces
- Galangal, bruised - 1 segment
- Brown sugar - 2 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Ground spices:
- Curly red chilies - 3 pieces
- Big red chili - 3 pieces
- Shallots - 5 grains
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils
Plans
- Heat the oil. Saute ground spices, bay leaves, lime leaves, and galangal until fragrant and cooked.
- Add shrimp. Stir well until the prawns change color.
- Add the french fries. Stir well.
- Pour coconut milk. Season with salt and brown sugar. Stir well and cook until the coconut milk is absorbed. Correction taste.
- Ready to be served.
- Petai and chickpeas can be added for variety.
