Oyong Bening Soun Vegetable Recipe (sop Gambas)
Clear vegetables are one of the practical and delicious processed vegetables. Many types of vegetables can be made clear vegetables. One of them is oyong or also called gambas. This vegetable has an oval shape with a surface resembling a star fruit. However, the surface that looks like starfruit should be discarded because of its hard texture. Usually, vegetable oyong is also cooked with soun and chicken. You can also use other ingredients, such as peeled shrimp or quail eggs. To get oyong with a smooth texture, choose oyong that is still young. Young Oyong still tastes sweet so that it makes the clear vegetables taste delicious. You can also combine oyong with other vegetables such as spinach.
Ingredients
- Oyong, peel the hard skin and cut into rounds - 1 piece
- Young corn, sliced oblique - 6 pieces
- Chicken fillet, diced - 50 grams
- Soun - 2 small packs
- Shallots, sliced - 3 cloves
- Garlic, sliced - 2 cloves
- Water - 750 ml
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Broth powder - 1/2 tsp
- Oil for frying - 2 tbsp

Plans
- Brew soun until slightly soft then drain. Set aside.
- Heat the oil. Saute onion and garlic slices until fragrant.
- Add chicken, stir until it changes color.
- Pour water, let it boil.
- Add the young corn, cook until slightly soft.
- Enter the oyong, soun, sugar, salt, and powdered broth. Cook until done. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. Soun can be replaced with misoa or corn vermicelli.
