Swiss Roll Recipe
Similar to rolls, Swiss Rolls are a type of sponge cake roll that is spread with cream or jam. To make it more interesting and varied, cake sponge cake in this recipe made with a rainbow motif or unicorn which is trending.
Ingredients
- Material A:
- Egg yolk - 3 eggs
- Whole egg - 1 egg
- Cooking oil - 50 ml
- Blue key flour - 50 grams
- Corn flour - 15 grams
- Granulated sugar - 20 grams
- Liquid milk - 4 tbsp
- Material B:
- Egg white - 3 eggs
- Granulated sugar - 40 grams
- Lime juice - 1/2 tsp
- Other Materials:
- Food coloring (5 colors) - to taste
- Butter cream - to taste

- Dough A: In a bowl, beat all ingredients A together. Stir with a spatula.
- Dough B: In a bowl, beat egg whites and lime until frothy. Add sugar gradually 2x, while continuing to beat until soft peaks expand
- Enter the dough B into the dough A gradually as much as 3 times. Fold in using a spatula.
- Divide the dough into 5 parts. Each give 1 drop of food coloring with a different color. Stir well.
- Prepare a 24x24 tin. Pour the batter with alternating colors until it runs out. Tap the pan slowly 2x.
- Bake the cake in the oven at 170°C for 15-20 minutes until cooked. Remove the cake and let it come to room temperature.
- Roll the cake and hold / let it sit for a while. Unroll and brush the surface of the cake with buttercream. Roll the cake back, then cut into pieces.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. Lime juice for dough B, can be replaced with cream of tar tar.
