Beef Rendang Recipe (original Minang)

Ingredients
- Rendang beef - 1 kg
- Thick coconut milk from 3 coconuts - 1 kg
- Water - 1 cup
- Lemongrass - 2 sticks
- Kaffir lime leaves - 5 pieces
- Turmeric leaves - 2 pieces
- Kandis acid - 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Cinnamon - 2 cm
- Cloves - 5 pieces
- Lawang flower - 2 pieces
- Ground spices:
- Curly red chilies - 20 pieces
- Shallots - 20 cloves
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Ginger - 2 cm
- Laos - 2 cm
- Coriander - 1 tsp

- Cut and wash the meat according to the desired shape.
- Grind all the ground spices.
- Put the ground spices into a pot or pan, then immediately add the coconut milk, water and meat.
- Stir until thick continuously, do not let the coconut milk break.
- While stirring, add lemongrass, kaffir lime leaves, turmeric leaves, kandis acid and salt.
- Keep stirring until it dries up and the color turns dark brown.
