  • English soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce - 1 tsp
  • Sweet soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Water - 100 ml
  • Complementary:
  • Katsuobushi - to taste
  • Mayonnaise - to taste
  • Chili sauce - to taste

  • Takoyaki Sauce: Mix all sauce ingredients together, bring to a boil, set aside.
  • Combine flour and baking powder, mix well. Set aside.
  • Beat eggs, mix with water, mix well.
  • Gradually add the egg and water mixture into the flour. Knead until the dough is smooth without lumps.
  • Heat the takoyaki mold, brush lightly with cooking oil.
  • Pour the dough into the mold until it is full, add the crab stick pieces for the filling. Cook until the bottom is crusty then flip with the help of a skewer.
  • Flip the dough until it forms a ball and is cooked.
