Rondo Royal Recipe (fried Tape)
Cassava tape is not only delicious to be enjoyed directly, but also appetizing when created. You can process it into rondo royal, a typical Javanese market snack. Cassava tape is mashed and mixed with other ingredients, then crispy fried in flour.
Ingredients
- Cassava tape - 500 grams
- Wheat flour - 80 grams
- Granulated sugar - 50 grams
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Coconut milk - 100 ml
- Right amount of oil
- Coating:
- Rice flour - 3 tbsp
- Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
- Enough water

Plans
- Puree the cassava tape and remove the wick/bone in the middle.
- In a bowl, mix the tape, sugar, salt and coconut milk. Stir well.
- Gradually add the flour, while continuing to stir until everything is well combined. Set aside.
- In a bowl, mix all the coating ingredients. Mix well until it becomes a runny dough. Set aside.
- Heat a lot of oil.
- Take a little dough tape and round it. Dip into the coating mixture.
- Fry in hot oil until brown. Lift and drain.
- Ready to be served.
- 1. Coconut milk can be replaced with water in the same amount.
