Pontianak Fried Banana Recipe
The ubiquitous fried bananas must be delicious. However, this Pontianak fried banana is different. It tastes very crisp, looks like a big fan, and has a creamy texture. Very delicious eaten as a friend to drink tea or coffee.
Ingredients
- Ripe kepok bananas - 10 pieces
- Right amount of oil
- Dye:
- All-purpose flour - 125 grams
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Boiled water - 250 ml
- Rice flour - 1 tbsp
- Powdered sugar - 2 tbsp
- Kremesan:
- Sago flour - 125 grams
- Rice flour - 3 tbsp
- Boiled water - 300 ml
- Egg yolk - 1 egg
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Refined brown sugar - 20 grams
- Double acting baking powder - 1/2 tsp

Plans
- Peel the bananas, and cut into fan shapes, set aside.
- Stir in the dipping ingredients.
- Mix all the creamy ingredients except for the baking powder.
- Heat the oil until it's really hot, while waiting for the oil to heat up, add the baking powder to the creamy ingredients, mix well.
- After the oil is hot, pour the dough over the hot oil in a circular motion, then reduce the heat so it doesn't burn.
- Take 1 banana that has been fan-shaped, dip it into the dye.
- Enter the center of the cream that is being fried, then fold both sides of the cream. Wait until golden and cooked.
- Do it for the next banana until it runs out.
