Ingredients

  • Flour - 200 grams
  • Maizena - 50 grams
  • Instant yeast - 1 tsp
  • Granulated sugar - 75 grams
  • Baking powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Wet Material:
  • Liquid milk - 300 ml
  • Eggs, beaten - 2 eggs
  • Butter or margarine, melted - 50 grams
  • Honey - 1 tbsp
  • Filling Material:
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 50 grams
  • Supplementary material:
  • Powdered sugar - to taste
  • Chocolate sauce - to taste
  • Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

Plans

  • Mix all dry ingredients, mix well. Set aside.
  • Combine all wet ingredients, mix well.
  • Pour the wet ingredients mixture into the dry ingredients. Beat with a whisk or whisk until evenly distributed and the sugar is dissolved.
  • Leave it for 30 minutes.
  • Heat the poffertjes mold on the stove. Grease with margarine.
  • Pour the dough until it is filled 3/4 of the mold (each circle). Cook until half cooked.
  • Turn half circle, give cheese filling. Then turn again until the dough closes perfectly round. Lift.
  • Sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve with chocolate sauce.
  • The real Poffertjes uses no filling. So it can be customized according to taste.
