Ingredients

  • Milkfish, clean and remove scales - 1 fish
  • Acidic water - 50 ml
  • Garlic, thinly sliced ​​- 2 cloves
  • Shallots, thinly sliced ​​- 3 grains
  • Lemongrass, bruised - 1 stick
  • Cayenne pepper - 6 grains
  • Tomato, cut into 4 parts - 1 piece
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Brown sugar - 1 tsp
  • Broth powder (optional) - 1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 300 ml
  • Cooking oil - 2 tbsp

Plans

  • Cut the milkfish into 3 or 4 parts. Set aside.
  • Heat the oil. Saute garlic and red until fragrant.
  • Add milkfish, tamarind water, lemongrass, and turmeric. Pour in the water and mix well. Cook until boiling.
  • Add cayenne pepper and tomatoes. Season with salt, brown sugar and powdered stock. Mix well and adjust the taste. Continue cooking for 5 minutes. Lift.
