Ingredients

  • Squid, clean the outer skin and body contents, wash thoroughly, cut into rings - 500 grams
  • Lime - 1 seed
  • Ice water - 100 ml
  • Flour Ingredients:
  • Wheat flour - 250 grams
  • Tapioca flour - 2 tbsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp
  • Broth powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Garlic - 1 tsp

  • Squid that has been cut into rings, mix well with lime juice. Leave it for 10 minutes then wash it off. Drain well.
  • Take 1/3 of the flour, add ice water until it is thick enough. Stir well.
  • Dip the squid pieces one by one into the dry flour mixture. Dip into wet mixture. Roll again in dry flour mixture. Beat in the remaining flour.
  • Fry in hot oil on medium heat. Fry until the flour layer turns golden brown.
  • Serve warm with your favorite sauce
  • 1. To fry the squid so that it is not tough, the frying time should not be long. So first heat the oil until it's really hot, then fry the squid.
