Chicken Dangkot Recipe
The chicken dangkot dish is one of the Indonesian cuisines that is rich in spices. - Young free-range chicken @800 gram - 1 tail
- Lime - 1 fruit
- Salt - 3/4 tsp
- Sugar - 1 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Chicken stock powder - 1/2 tsp
- Citrus leaves, finely chopped - 3 pieces
- Young galangal, grated - 2 cm
- Lemongrass, choose the white part, grated - 10 stalks
- Oil for frying - 3 tbsp
- Water - 150 ml
- Ground spices:
- Shallots - 10 grains
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Curly red chili - 5 pieces
- Red cayenne pepper - 30 pieces
- Candlenut - 3 grains
- Turmeric - 2 cm
- Ginger - 1 cm

- Cut the chicken into small pieces, knead with lime juice and a pinch of salt, leave for 15 minutes. Wash, rinse thoroughly, drain.
- Heat oil, saute ground spices, lemon grass, galangal, and lime leaves until fragrant.
