Beef Ribs Curry Recipe
You can get ribs that are tender and perfectly loose from the bone with this delicious and practical recipe.
Ingredients
- Beef ribs - 1 kg
- Bay leaf - 3 pieces
- Citrus leaves - 4 pieces
- Galangal, bruised - 3 cm
- Lemongrass, bruised - 3 sticks
- Cinnamon - 2 cm
- Lawang flower / deaf - 1 piece
- Pepper powder - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tsp
- Sugar - 1/2 tsp
- Water - 1 liter
- Thick coconut milk - 400 ml
- Cooking oil - 3 tbsp
- Ground spices:
- Shallots - 12 pieces
- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Candlenut, roasted - 8 grains
- Coriander, roasted - 2 tsp
- Turmeric, roasted - 2 cm
- Cumin - 1/4 tsp
- Ginger - 2 cm
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils
Plans
- Boil beef ribs in a pressure cooker for 15-20 minutes. Lift. Drain the ribs.
- Heat the oil. Saute ground spices with bay leaves, lime leaves, galangal, and lemongrass until fragrant.
- Add beef ribs. Pour water and thick coconut milk. Cook while stirring until it boils.
- Add cinnamon, star anise, pepper, salt, and sugar. Stir and cook until the gravy shrinks and thickens. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- If you like it spicy, you can add ground chili or whole cayenne pepper according to taste.
