Curly Siomay Recipe
This year's Eid just passed, leaving no impression. I don't even feel the Eid aura like last year. It's like an anti-climax, because last year my family and I spent 3 days together in Ancol. This year, my sister and her family stayed in Batam, only us who were around Jakarta came to the house of Wiwin, my sister, in the Mampang area. I don't even cook any food at all. At first I intended to cook rendang, but at the last minute I canceled it because my sister said there was still a lot of rendang in the freezer since the fasting month . In the end, I came with only myself and a change of clothes. Fortunately, Wiwin's household assistant, Mbak Yati, is not going home to Cirebon this year, so we were full for Eid two days ago with his cooking. We call it, Yati's Kitchen. As last year, my sister provided beef soup, rendang, liver-fried chili sauce, village chicken opor, ketupat and vegetable godog. Plus various fried foods such as bakwan, tempe mendoan and stuffed tofu which are the mainstay of Mbak Yati. Mbak Yati's cooking suited all of our tastes, and the variety of fries was great. For two days my stomach seemed to explode with fullness. While it's still Eid atmosphere, I wish you a Happy Eid Al-Fitr 1 Syawal 1441 H. Minal aidin walfaidzin, sorry to be born and inner heart.
