Banana Cake Recipe (banana Bread)
Made from bananas, this cake was then named banana cake or banana sponge cake. As a new creation to enjoy bananas in sponge, this cake has a very delicious taste. The soft and tender texture with a thick banana flavor is its main characteristic.
Ingredients
- Ripe bananas, mashed - 200 grams
- Butter - 125 grams
- Palm sugar - 80 grams
- Medium protein flour - 175 grams
- Baking powder - 1 tsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1 tsp
- Eggs - 2 eggs

- Mix butter and sugar until fluffy.
- Add the eggs one by one while beating until evenly distributed, turn off the mixer.
- Add flour and baking powder (while sifting), cinnamon, then stir until evenly distributed. Then add the bananas, stir until smooth again.
- Pour the mixture into a baking sheet that has been greased and lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 45 minutes at 180°C (depending on each oven you have).
- Do a toothpick test to see if the dough is done.
- Choose ripe bananas from Ambon, Sunpride, or Cavendish bananas.
