Baked rice or grilled rice is one of the delicious dishes that you can make from yesterday's leftover cold white rice. Just need to stir-fry with simple spices and ingredients, sprinkle cheese on top, then bake for a while until the cheese melts and browns.

Ingredients

  • Cold white rice - 250 grams
  • Garlic, chopped - 3 cloves
  • Onions, chopped - 1/2 pieces
  • Sausage, cut into small pieces - 1 piece
  • Carrots, diced and then boiled briefly - 1 stick
  • Butter or margarine - 1 tbsp
  • Wheat flour - 1 tbsp
  • Liquid milk - 200 ml
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/4 tsp
  • Pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • Sprinkled:
  • Mozzarella Cheese - 50 grams
  • Cheddar cheese - 50 grams
  • Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

Plans

  • Heat the butter. Saute garlic and onions until fragrant.
  • Add sausage. Cook until done.
  • Add flour. Stir until the flour changes color.
  • Pour in the milk while continuing to stir.
  • Add salt. Add sugar, salt and pepper. Stir well and turn off the fire.
  • Add the rice and stir until well blended.
  • Prepare a pyrex or a heatproof dish. Pour the rice mixture into it. Sprinkle with mozzarella and cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and lightly browned. Take it out.
  • Ready to be served.
  • 1. Use cold rice so that it is not too mushy after baking.
