Milkfish Stew Recipe

Ingredients Milkfish, cut into 3 parts - 1 kg Lime - 1 fruit Lemongrass - 1 stick Galangal - 3 cm Bay leaf - 2 pieces Citrus leaves - 3 pieces Salt - 1 tsp Sugar - 1 tsp Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp Sweet soy sauce - 5 tbsp Water - 250 ml Right amount of oil Ground spices: Garlic - 3 cloves Shallots - 6 grains Curly red chilies - 3 pieces Candlenut, roasted - 2 pieces Ginger - 3 cm See Mother's Recipe Version Plans Wash the milkfish and then coat it with lime juice and salt to taste. Let stand for 15 minutes then wash again. Heat the oil and fry the milkfish until cooked and dry. Lift and drain. Heat some oil. Saute ground spices until fragrant. Add lemongrass, galangal, bay leaf, and lime leaves. Stir well. Add salt, sugar, ground pepper and soy sauce. Stir well. Pour in the water and stir well and cook until it boils. Add the milkfish. Stir well and then cook again until boiling and the gravy is absorbed. Lift. Ready to be served. Leave the milkfish covered in lime juice and salt for at least 15 minutes so that it doesn't smell rancid.
