Mayo Risoles Recipe
Ingredients
- Medium protein flour - 100 grams
- Large egg - 1 egg
- Liquid milk - 300 ml
- Salt - 1/4 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cooking oil - 1 tbsp

- In a bowl, mix flour, salt and pepper. Stir well.
- Add the eggs and milk, then mix well using a whisk until there are no lumps. Strain the dough then add cooking oil, stir until smooth.
- Heat a non-stick skillet. Pour enough batter to make a thin omelette. When the surface of the omelet is dry and does not stick to the pan, remove the omelet immediately. Do it until the dough runs out.
- For the filling: mix well the mayonnaise and chili sauce, set aside.
- Take one sheet of omelette and arrange the filling on it (a slice of boiled egg, a piece of bacon, 1 tsp of sauce mixture). Roll it up like an envelope, like a sausage/rissole shape. Do this until all the omelet is gone.
- Roll the rissoles into the beaten egg and then coat with breadcrumbs. Do it to the end.
- Leave the rissoles for about hour in the refrigerator so that the breadcrumbs stick perfectly.
- Heat a lot of oil. Fry the risoles until golden brown. Lift and drain.
- Ready to be served with cayenne pepper or bottled chili sauce.
