Ingredients

  • White tofu - 3 pieces
  • Garlic, minced - 1 clove
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Enough water
  • Ground spices:
  • Big red chili - 5 pieces
  • Cayenne pepper - 10 pieces
  • Shallots - 5 grains
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tomato - 1 piece
  • Terasi - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Sugar - to taste

  • Cut the tofu into small squares, then soak briefly with enough water that has been given finely chopped garlic and 1 teaspoon of salt.
  • Fry tofu until cooked, remove and drain.
  • Puree red chilies, cayenne pepper, shallots, garlic, tomatoes and shrimp paste.
  • Saute ground spices, add salt and sugar to taste. Cook until the chili is cooked and fragrant. Then add fried tofu, mix well.
