Ingredients

  • Kepok bananas - 8 pieces
  • Margarine - 1 tbsp
  • Peeled peanuts, roasted - 50 grams
  • Brown Sugar Sauce:
  • Brown sugar - 100 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Pandan leaves, chopped - 1 sheet
  • Water - 150 ml
  • Buy ingredients and cooking utensils

Plans

  • Flatten the bananas by pressing each one with a cutting board. Grease both surfaces of bananas with margarine.
  • Heat a non-stick flat pan. Bake bananas on top until browned on both sides. Remove and set aside.
  • Brown Sugar Sauce: Cook all sauce ingredients until boiling and brown sugar is dissolved. Remove then strain. Set aside.
  • Serving: Arrange bananas on a serving plate. Drizzle with brown sugar sauce then sprinkle with roasted peanuts.
  • 1. If you want the brown sugar sauce to be thicker, add a cornstarch solution of 1 tsp of cornstarch diluted with a little water. Pour in when the sugar sauce boils.
