Red Soup Recipe
A bowl of red soup is suitable for lunch or dinner menu. Quick, easy and rich in flavour! If your family loves sausages and fresh tomatoes, this red soup recipe is a must try. Also suitable to be served during the rainy season and when there are events at home.
Ingredients
- Chicken breast, diced - 250 grams
- Carrots - 2 pieces
- Sausages - 6 pieces
- Peas - 100 grams
- Garlic, finely chopped - 4 cloves
- Onion, thinly sliced - 1/2 piece
- Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
- Nutmeg powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chicken broth - 1 liter
- Margarine, for sauteing - 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Cornstarch, dilute with a little water - 1 tsp
- Tomato sauce:
- Tomatoes - 5 pieces
- Tomato sauce - 2 tbsp
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

- Tomato sauce: Boil tomatoes until soft, then peel off the skin. Blend the tomatoes until smooth, then strain. Set aside.
- Sauté the garlic and onions until fragrant, then add the chopped chicken. Saute until the chicken changes color.
- Add the broth, then add the chopped carrots. Add tomato sauce, salt, sugar, pepper and nutmeg, mix well.
- After the carrots are tender, add the sausage and peas, wait for it to boil then add the cornstarch solution, mix well, remove from heat.
- Red soup is ready to be served warm.
