Colenak or grilled tape is a food from Bandung which is eaten by dipping it in liquid palm sugar mixed with grated coconut. Colenak is an abbreviation in Sundanese dipped delicious. Making it easy and practical for an afternoon snack.

Ingredients

  • Ripe cassava tape - 500 grams
  • Butter - 50 grams
  • Grated coconut - 200 grams
  • Brown sugar - 150 grams
  • Granulated sugar - 50 grams
  • Coconut milk - 100 ml
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Pandan leaves - 2 pieces
  • Buy ingredients and cooking utensils

Plans

  • Boil the coconut milk with brown sugar, salt, pandan leaves and white sugar until the sugar dissolves, remove and strain then boil again then add the grated coconut, stir until it boils, set aside.
  • Heat a non-stick frying pan, add a little margarine, roast the cassava tape to the brass, serve with grated coconut sauce.
  • Use ripe cassava tape so that it tastes sweet and legit, you can add pieces of jackfruit to the coconut sauce.
