My fight against rats is finally over (hopefully!). After weeks of draining energy, thought and time, last weekend it was all over. As I told you in the post on the link here , a super large mouse nested right in the middle of the page. How I hate it when I am enjoying the evening breeze on the terrace, while gazing at the rows of plant collections, the mouse milling about in front of my eyes. The most annoying thing is that these rodents are fond of various vegetable plants such as chilies, peppers and even papaya seeds that have just sprouted. After the action of covering the hole with stones, pavingand other things did not give maximum results, it made this animal more aggressive and made a hole from the other side, so I finally bought a roll of chicken wire at the online shop. My plan is to close a gap of 5 cm wide between the gate and the paving floor . I noticed it was from this gap that a mouse or cat entered and exited freely. Two weeks ago on Friday, the coils of wire arrived successfully at the office. Although it looks big, it is actually very light, so I carried it home using the MRT. All day on the weekend

which was originally going to be used to install wires, instead ended up lounging on the bed enjoying the cool weather while watching You Tube. I just went out into the yard and checked the plants  on a Sunday afternoon  when it was five in the afternoon. While spraying the orchids with fertilizer, the mouse came out of its hole and ran to the corner of the yard, making me scream to myself in front of the house and run to the terrace for safety. I'm sure the rat was just as scared and shocked as I was. Sitting in silence for thirty minutes, my patience bearing fruit, the mouse reappeared and ran for the gate, disappearing from the hole under the fence. I immediately stood up and took action with lightning speed dismantling the chicken wire. This wire is light, flexible, strong but sharp, I've scratched my fingers several times while cutting it into sheets just enough to seal an open gap under the fence.
