Review: Bamboo Soto Ayam
If it's me, after making fried chicken at home, the next day I'm definitely planning to make chicken soup. Why? The thing is that the fried chicken ungkep that didn't finish today can be used as a complement to the soto, the story is shredded chicken. Let's not get bored with the fried chicken menu again.
People say that cooking chicken soup is quite easy to mix up the seasoning, but to be honest, I rarely use chicken soup, and I often use ready-made spices, but the taste is just right for the usual taste of chicken soup.
Actually there is one brand that I really trust, and the taste is relatively uncorrected, but unfortunately the composition contains MSG.. Hikz. I'm not a person who has a phobia of MSG, but I feel like there's no substitute for ingredients that don't use MSG, I'd rather choose non-MSG even though sometimes the price is more expensive.
People say that the food will not taste good if you don't use MSG, in fact that's the challenge, how to make natural delicious food without MSG. In fact, if the food is delicious but has MSG, maybe it's not because he's a good cook, but because of his MSG.. 😂
Some people have recommended bamboo instant seasoning, they say it's one of the manufacturer's instant spices that doesn't use MSG, I don't know if it's true or not. but I read in the composition, it's not there.
Long ago before I knew the brand that I often use now, I've tried this bamboo spice flavored with chicken soup, but now I've forgotten the taste.. Hehe So cooking with this feels like it's the first time again..
From the packaging, I think this bamboo looks more Indonesian than other brands, I don't know why I just get the feel... Hehe. The price is the same as other instant brands, but usually I like to look for discounts in the marketplace, like Shopee , Toped, buklap, etc.. Mothers, I'm sorry .
On the back there is a cooking method, according to the information, there is no need to add anything else besides water, but personally, I like to add more seasoning, because it will taste watery and bland like that.
As for the additional seasoning, you can see it directly in the chicken soup recipe that I've made.
In terms of taste, hmm... I think it's still delicious under the Indofood brand, the taste of Soto Ayam is more similar, I think it's like too much spice, either ginger, galangal or something. The smell is different, and I don't like the smell.
As for the curry flavor from bamboo, I'm really good at it, but when it comes to the soto, I guess I'll just go back to my favorite seasoning.
For this one, this is my rating:
Taste: 3/5
Aroma: 3/5
Price: 3/5
Buy again:yes / no / maybe
