  • 150 grams of curly red chili (cut into 3 cm long)
  • 10 grains of red chili (skip if you don't like spicy)
  • Garlic 7 cloves
  • Kencur 6 pieces (size 1 knuckle)
  • 10 pieces of kaffir lime leaves
  • Salt 3 tablespoons 
  • Tamarind water 5 tablespoons (soak tamarind in hot water to produce thick tamarind water)
  • 100 milliliters of oil or as needed (used for sauteing spices)

How to Make Pecel Sauce:

  1. The first step, puree the peanuts that have been fried earlier with a food processor, in a pulverizer or in a blender. as well as brown sugar, process until smooth. when it's all smooth, mix the peanuts and brown sugar together. set aside.
  2. Then heat 100 milliliters of cooking oil or to taste , then fry the chili , garlic , kencur , and lime leaves until all ingredients are wilted and cooked . lift, drain, puree.
