Any soup will be less delicious without the presence of soto sauce. Maybe, you can just add a few slices of chili, or bottled chili. But, of course it won't be as good as the special soto sauce. Ingredients

  • Cayenne pepper - 25 pieces
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Candlenut - 2 grains
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Water - 200 ml

Plans

  • Boil the cayenne pepper with 200 ml of water until the chili is soft, remove and drain.
  • Fry the garlic and candlenut in a little oil until the onion is wilted, remove from heat.
  • Puree or grind the boiled chili, garlic, candlenut and salt until smooth. Add enough water to boil chili, mix well.
  • Sambal Soto is ready to be served as a complement to the Soto.
