Tempura Shrimp Recipe
Shrimp tempura is widely known as one of the typical Japanese food menus, which is often also called Ebi Furai (if the outer dressing uses bread flour).
Just a tip, if you want to use instant flour, choose one that is specifically for tempura, because for crispy flour, the end result is usually a harder flour to fall (you can increase the amount of rice flour, so it takes longer to be crispy) while the desired texture is from tempura. it has a softer crunchy texture.
Today I'm going to share one of my favorite recipes, which is easy to make and easy to finish.. Hehe, it's also suitable as a side dish for vegetable soup.
For your info, I used Sriboga Shrimp Tempura non-MSG flour for the dressing .
So, here it is..

Ingredients:
250 gr of shrimp, cleaned
500 ml of cooking oil
Wet dough:
🍤 150 ml of water
1 tablespoon of instant seasoning flour
1 tsp of salt (coincidentally the seasoning flour that I use doesn't taste salty, if the flour is salty, you can skip it)
Dry dough (blanket):
150 gr instant tempura seasoning flour
How to Cook:
First soak the prawns that have been cleaned from the shell and head in the marinade for about 15-30 minutes, can be stored in the refrigerator .
One by one take the prawns from the marinade, roll them gently in the flour, then dip them again into the marinade, and roll them a second time while pressing, set aside.
Heat cooking oil on medium heat, when it is hot, fry the prawns that have been wrapped in flour one by one, until golden yellow.
