Fried Peyeum Recipe Bandung

Bandung is famous for its special food, peyeum (cassava tape). Peyeum is the result of fermenting cassava, it tastes sweet with a chewy texture.

The original plan was to make prol tape, from what day did you buy the cassava tape, but because over time, the tape was made differently.

(Tape Cassava (peyeum) fried) 
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Servings: 4-5 people

Ingredients:
250 gr Cassava
tape 150 gr wheat flour
1/4 tsp vanilla powder
2 tablespoons sugar
75 ml water (or roughly to the desired consistency
) oil for frying

Method:
Combine flour, water, and all ingredients except tape in a bowl, make a dough that is not too runny and not too thick.
Divide the tape in half, then slightly flatten.
Put the tape into the flour mixture, coat until evenly distributed.
Preheat the oil, after it's hot, add the coated tape into the pan.
Cook until yellowed, once on both sides are cooked, remove and drain.
Bandung Fried Peyeum Recipe is ready to be served.
