TEMPE STEAK RECIPES
STEAK INGREDIENTS:
- 200 grams of tempeh
- 1 large chicken egg (not used for vegetarians)
- 1 clove of onion
- 1 tsp broth powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp pepper powder
- 3 tbsp bread flour
- enough vegetable oil
SAUCE INGREDIENTS:
- 150 ml water
- 2 tbsp cornstarch
- 1 tsp broth powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 1 onion
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 1 tsp oyster sauce
- Butter
- 2 chicken eggs, beaten
- Sufficient bread flour
- Take the tempeh then steam for 15 minutes. Then take it out and put it in plastic wrap and beat until smooth.
- Once smooth, transfer to a medium-sized bowl and add the spices such as, onion, stock powder, salt, sugar, and ground pepper. Stir until all ingredients are mixed.
- After all the ingredients are mixed, form the tempeh like beef steak.
- Take the eggs and then break them into a small bowl and beat until foamy. Then put the tempeh steak into it and then roll it on the breadcrumbs until evenly distributed.
- Heat olive oil over skillet, then cook tempeh for 5 minutes on each side, set aside.
- Make tomato sauce. Melt the butter in a saucepan, then sauté the onions and peppers until they smell good.
- Add oyster sauce, tomatoes, sweet soy sauce, water, and also powdered broth, wait until it boils
- Add the cornstarch and cook until it boils and thickens. Don't forget to stir so it doesn't burn and it's bitter.
- Transfer to a small bowl
- Take the cooked tempeh steak, arrange it on a serving plate and pour it over with the sauce. Decorate according to taste.
- Serve.
TEMPE STEAK RECIPES IN BLACK PEPPER SAUCE
INGREDIENTS :
- 250 grams of tempeh, cut into small cubes
- 200 grams of ground beef (for vegans, omit the vegetarian version)
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 3 tbsp breadcrumbs
- 2 tbsp wheat flour
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 1-2 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp pepper powder
- 1/2 tsp sugar
- Steam the tempeh until soft then puree.
- Saute onions until fragrant, remove and mix with all ingredients. Stir until well blended.
- Taste test by baking a little dough. Adjust the taste to taste.
- Divide the dough into several parts (weigh @ 75 grams), form a flat round shape.
- Heat a lock & lock E-Cook Deco Fry Pan or regular Teflon or non-stick Teflon ceramic pan and bake the dough on it without using oil or butter. Bake until cooked and brown on both sides.
- Lift and ready to use.
Black Pepper Mushroom Sauce Recipe
INGREDIENTS :
- 1 can button mushrooms, cut into 3 parts
- 1/2 onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed and finely chopped 400 ml of broth
- 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato sauce
- 1 tbsp English soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch, dissolved in a little water
- 2 tbsp oil for frying
- Heat the oil in a lock & lock E-Cook Deco Fry Pan or a regular Teflon pan or a non-stick ceramic coated Teflon pan, saute the onions and garlic until wilted and fragrant.
- Add button mushrooms, stir until smooth.
- Pour the broth, add the sweet soy sauce, tomato sauce, oyster sauce and soy sauce. Mix well.
- Season with salt, sugar and black pepper. Cook until boiling.
- Slowly add the cornstarch solution to the desired consistency. Adjust the taste to taste.
- Turn off the heat, ready to use.
- Prepare on a serving plate, arrange the tempeh steak along with the complement on it and pour it with the sauce.
- Serve warm.
