Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 150 grams
  • Sago flour - 100 grams
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Broth powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Eggs - 2 eggs
  • Margarine - 15 grams
  • Cheddar cheese, grated - 125 grams
  • Water, as needed - 15 ml

  • In a bowl, mix flour, sago flour, salt, powdered broth, and cheese. Mix well. Make a well in the middle of the mixture then add the eggs, mix well.
  • Add margarine and stir and knead the dough until smooth.
  • Add water little by little if the dough is too dry and difficult to knead.
  • Roll out the dough until it is thin or according to the desired thickness. Sprinkle with sago flour. Then cut with a knife into sticks.
  • Heat plenty of oil in a frying pan.
  • Fry the cheese sticks in really hot oil, using low heat. Fry until it turns golden brown in color. Lift and drain.
  • Once cool, put in and store in an airtight container.
  • Ready to be served.
  • 1. The use of cheddar cheese can be replaced with parmesan cheese, edam, or a mixture of the three, according to taste.
