Ingredients

  • Wheat flour - 150 grams
  • Maizena - 4 tbsp
  • Baking soda - 1/4 tsp
  • Yogurt - 4 tbsp
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Orange food coloring - to taste
  • Yellow food coloring - to taste
  • Sugar Syrup:
  • Water - 50 ml
  • Sugar - 100 grams
  • Lemon juice - 1 tbsp

  • Mix flour, cornstarch, and baking soda and mix well.
  • Add water, stir until smooth then add yogurt and a few drops of coloring, mix well. Let the dough rest 15 minutes.
  • After 15 minutes, put the dough in a plastic triangle then fry in a circle like a spiral. Fry in hot oil until jalebi is cooked, remove and drain.
  • Sugar Syrup: Mix all syrup ingredients, cook until it boils and thickens.
  • Dip the fried Jalebi in the sugar syrup. Lift aside. Sticky Jalebi is ready to be served.
