Shrimp Cuanki Meatball Recipe
Cuanki is a type of traditional meatball snack from Bandung. Cuanki means “to make money on foot”, because in the past, sellers used to sell it on foot. If you haven't had time to taste cuanki in Bandung, you can make your own with the following recipe. To make it more delicious, cuanki dough is mixed with shrimp.
Ingredients
- Cash:
- Chopped Shrimp - 250 grams
- Tapioca flour - 6 tbsp
- Wheat flour - 2 tbsp
- Egg white - 2 eggs
- Fried garlic, puree - 3 cloves
- Scallion - 1 stick
- White tofu, fried - 4 pieces
- Pepper, salt - to taste
- Water for boiling - to taste
- Broth:
- Garlic, crushed - to taste
- Fish sauce - to taste
- Green onions - to taste
- Salt to taste
- Sugar - to taste
- Leftover prawn heads - to taste

- 1. Combine all ingredients except water, mix well.
- 1. Boil the prawn heads with water until it boils and then strain.
- 1. Arrange the meatballs and tofu in a bowl, you can also add dumplings, then flush with the gravy.
- Add 1 tablespoon of cooking oil when boiling the cuanki dough so it doesn't stick.
