Ingredients

  • Cornflakes, crushed into small pieces - 100 grams
  • All-purpose flour - 200 grams
  • Butter - 150 grams
  • Fine granulated sugar - 125 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Vanilla paste - 1/2 tsp
  • Egg - 1 egg
  • Baking powder - 1/2 tsp

  • In a large bowl, beat the butter and powdered sugar for 1-2 minutes until pale and creamy.
  • Add vanilla paste and eggs and beat with a mixer again.
  • After mixed well, add the flour that has been sifted with baking powder and mixed with salt, then mix on low speed until smooth.
  • Weigh the dough weighing 12 grams (you can also use an ice cream spoon) round it and then put it into the corn flake crumbs and compact it.
  • Arrange in a baking sheet that has been lined with baking paper, then bake in a preheated 180°C oven. Bake at 160°C for 20-25 minutes until golden.
  • Once cooked, transfer to a new, unheated baking sheet and allow to cool down before serving or storing in a jar.
  • Do not beat the egg and flour mixture for too long so that the cookies are crispy.
