Review: Arirang Extra Hot Fried Noodle (part 8)
When you go to a supermarket, you immediately go to an instant noodle display case.. Xiixixi ouch.. Fasting on instant noodles is really easy and difficult . Especially if you see ramyun-ramyunan.
Oh yeah, when I'm writing this review I don't even remember what part it was, regarding the review about imported noodles.. Hehe, it's been so long since I've found anything new. So
, to be honest, I'm going to rummage through the review categories I've written about. For those who are curious, you can also take a peek here: review of ramen and ramyun part 1 - part 7.
What made this noodle immediately grab my attention, of course, the very existential Korean writing. in the package, but after reading it more deeply, almost 90% are in Indonesian and 10% are in English, of course they are labeled halal.
Second, after the halal label, what I'm looking for is the manufacturer, usually if it's imported there will be an importer's writing.. Blah.. Blah.. Blah.. But it seems like this ramyun is produced in Indonesia, or rather it's a franchise, because I've also seen the Korean version with a more expensive price in the online shop.
For the ramyun class, the price offered is quite friendly, which is around 9000, I bought it here . If the imports can be around 15-20 thousand. The price is okay, for the packaging, he uses a dominant black color which is very identical to the spicy effect (if it's not black it's usually red)... Maybe these colors really have a powerful effect..
As for the taste, this noodle doesn't have anything specific, whether it's seafood flavor, chicken flavor, or whatever.. It's just that in the picture there is a tantalizing picture of beef ribs.
I didn't expect much, because it doesn't have a distinctive taste, but if you're curious about the composition, you can see it here:
From the composition, it's quite simple. And this has "leaf lime" in it. Hmm.. My question is, in Korea are lime leaves also popular as a cooking spice? I swear very curious. And there's sesame too, this is really typical for Korean food. Not to mention the combination of seaweed. Yummmyyy.. We'll prove the taste
Now this is what the unboxing looks like, the spices are really varied, there are 4 seeds, great. Usually, if you have a variety of spices, the taste is special.
For those of you who like big portions, this ramyun has a lot more, he gives 130g.. Pretty filling, right? Hehe, if the appearance of the noodles is normal, I also tasted it, the flour taste is typical of instant noodles, only the richness is bigger.
The cooking method is not adventurous and complicated, it's normal, the spices are separated on the plate, that's how the noodles are cooked... And you know it's well, he continued. So, here is my work:
The taste is.. Very spicy I think this is the spiciest ramyun I've ever eaten. And that's right, lime leaves are very dominant, even making the taste of sesame and seaweed drown in the taste of lime leaves.. Too bad! Over
all, the taste is delicious, and I'm not lying if it's an "extra spicy" taste, combined with lime leaves.. How come I even feel like eating spicy cassava chips which was a trend for the past few years huh??
Apart from lime leaves and chili, I don't feel any other dominant flavor. And I recommend this for those of you who are still working on assignments, how do you feel sleepy.. Hehe because of the spicy and fresh taste that makes you literate.. Promise
So, this is my assessment for Ramyun Arirang Extra Hot Fried Noodle:
Wrap: 4/ 5
Noodle Texture: 4/5
Unique Taste: 3/4
Pedals Taste: 5/5
Completeness of Seasonings, Vegetables, etc.: 4/5
Buy Again:Yes / No / Maybe
