Nastar Roll Recipe
Nastar can be created in various forms. One of the interesting but easy ones is making rolls of nastar with a fork motif. Easy to make and beautiful in appearance, perfect for holiday sales, or parcel delivery.
Ingredients
- Margarine - 200 grams
- Butter - 100 grams
- Powdered sugar - 60 grams
- Egg yolk - 2 eggs
- Powdered milk - 50 grams
- Medium protein flour - 300 grams
- Maizena - 85 grams
- Spread:
- Egg yolk - 3 eggs
- Sweetened condensed - 1 tbsp
- Cooking oil - 1 tbsp
- Pineapple jam:
- Pineapple - 2 pieces
- Granulated sugar - 100 grams
- Cinnamon - 1 stick @10 cm
- Cloves - 5 grains
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

- Peel the pineapple, wash it then grate it, cook with cinnamon and cloves until the water shrinks.
- Add sugar, cook on low heat until dry and can be picked up.
- Cool small oval shape. Pineapple jam is ready to use.
- Beat margarine, butter and powdered sugar until smooth. Add the egg yolks one by one, beat well.
- Enter the flour mixture, milk powder, cornstarch, mix well until a dough texture can be formed.
- Take a little dough, flatten lengthwise, fill with pineapple jam then roll it up. Form a few strokes at the top with the help of a toothpick. Or you can also roll the dough and then form strokes with a rolling pin with a line motif.
- Arrange in a baking sheet that has been lined with parchment paper, oven at 160°C for about 20 minutes until cooked.
- Once cooked, rub with the spread material, repeat the basting again (total 2x basting) let it dry. Return to the oven at the same temperature for 10 minutes.
- Cool and store in an airtight jar.
