Ingredients

  • Wheat flour, high protein - 250 grams
  • Wheat flour, medium protein - 50 grams
  • Instant yeast - 6 grams
  • Granulated sugar - 50 grams
  • Milk powder - 20 grams
  • Egg - 1 egg
  • Ice water - 160 ml
  • Margarine - 40 grams
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Spread and Toppings:
  • Margarine - to taste
  • Meses - to taste
  • Powdered sugar - to taste
  • Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

  • In a bowl, mix flour, instant yeast, sugar, and powdered milk. Stir well.
  • Add the eggs and water little by little while mixing on low speed, or knead until the dough comes together.
  • Add margarine and salt, knead until elastic.
  • Divide the dough weighing 45 grams each, round it and arrange it on parchment paper that has been dusted with flour. Do it until the dough runs out.
  • Make a hole in the center of the donut using your fingers, let it rest until it has doubled in size, about 30 minutes.
  • Fry the donuts with a lot of oil and on medium heat until they are cooked on one side, just turn once and then cook the other side. Lift and drain.
  • Once cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar if you want powdered sugar. If you want meses village donuts, brush the surface with margarine and then sprinkle with meses.
