Skipjack Noodle Recipe
Manadonese skipjack noodles are so delicious to eat during the rainy season like this. This savory noodle with the aroma of skipjack tuna is made from simple ingredients and is easy to make by anyone. You may want to serve warm noodles for the family? Ingredients
- Egg noodles - 200 grams
- Skipjack tuna - 150 grams
- Mustard greens - 1 bunch
- Scallion - 2 sprigs
- Skipjack Sauce:
- Garlic, crushed - 3 cloves
- Water - 800 ml
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Broth powder - 1/2 tsp
- Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
- Chilli sauce:
- Red chilies - 2 pieces
- Cayenne pepper - 15 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Vinegar - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Skipjack gravy - 2 tbsp
- Complementary:
- Fried onions for sprinkling - to taste
- Sambal - to taste
- Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils
Plans
- Steam the skipjack tuna until cooked, then shred the meat. Set aside.
- Boil noodles until cooked, remove and drain. Add a little cooking oil, then stir well so it doesn't stick.
- Noodle soup: Sauté the garlic until fragrant, add the shredded skipjack tuna, mix well. Saute until the fish is browned, then add the water.
- Season with salt, pepper and ground broth. After boiling, add the mustard greens and scallions, mix well. Turn off the fire.
- Sambal: Boil the chilies and garlic until soft, then grind them finely. Add salt, vinegar and skipjack gravy, mix well. Sambal is ready to use.
- Arrange the boiled noodles in a bowl or serving plate, flush with skipjack gravy then sprinkle with fried onions.
- Serve warm with vinegar sauce.
