Ingredients

  • Beef ribs, cut into pieces - 500 grams
  • Beef broth - 800 ml
  • Lemongrass, bruised - 2 sticks
  • Galangal, bruised - 1 segment
  • Bay leaf - 2 pieces
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • Sweet soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Thick tamarind water - 2 tbsp
  • Cayenne pepper - 5 pieces
  • Pineapple, coarsely sliced ​​- 1/4 fruit
  • Tomato, chopped - 1 piece
  • Basil - to taste
  • Ground spices:
  • Curly red chili - 4 pieces
  • Cayenne pepper - 3 pieces
  • Shallots - 4 grains
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tomato - 1 piece
  • Turmeric - 1 segment

  • Boil beef ribs using a pressure cooker for 40 minutes until cooked. Remove and set aside. Take the broth as much as 800 ml and then strain.
  • In a saucepan, bring the broth to a boil.
