Gore Gore Recipe
Gore gore meat is a typical food of Central Sulawesi that you should try. It looks so delicious combined with sweet potato cut into sticks and fried. This beef gore recipe can be an idea for the creation of processed meat for family meals.
Ingredients
- Stew:
- Beef - 500 grams
- Water - 750 ml
- Bay leaf - 2 pieces
- Salt, to taste - 3/4 tbsp
- Cinnamon powder - 1/4 tsp
- Cloves - 2 grains
- Brown sugar - 15 grams
- Acid, dissolve with 50 ml of warm water - 13 grams
- Ginger, crushed - 3 cm
- Ground spices:
- Curly red chilies - 10 pieces
- Large red chilies, seeds removed - 2 pieces
- Shallots - 8 grains
- Garlic - 4 grains
- Laos - 2 cm
- Lemongrass, take the white part - 1 piece
- Other:
- Salt to taste
- Oil - to taste
- White sweet potato, cut into matchsticks - 1/2 fruit
- Seasoning powder, according to taste - to taste
- Buy ingredients and cooking utensils

- Fry white sweet potato that has been cut into matchsticks, drain until golden. Set aside.
- Boil the meat until tender with the stew spices then cut into cubes.
- Heat 50 ml of cooking oil then fry the meat until it changes color then remove.
- Fry the ground spices with the remaining oil from frying the meat then add the meat, sugar and seasoning.
- Stir well the meat and cook until the spices absorb and blend with the meat, turn off the stove.
- After the hot steam is gone, add the fried sweet potato and mix well again. Serve.
