Review: Baso Aci Entin Spicy Kuah

The rainy season has arrived.. it's time to look for hot spicy snacks.. Baso aci is really on the rise, in Bandung it's actually called cilok, but other areas say baso aci, maybe because it looks like meatball but made from aci, if baso it's from minced meat.

If you make your own, it's definitely more plentiful and fuller, but if you're already hungry, it's better if you buy it.. hihi, I've never had one in my housing complex, so I had to go and look for it myself, that's why I prefer online shopping. don't be here .

Price and Packaging

The price is also relatively the same as if we bought it at a baso aci shop, even cheaper because you don't have to pay for the labor to make it, right? For 1 portion the price is usually 15 thousand - 20 thousand, this I bought Baso Aci Entin about 11 thousand large ones, and 8 thousand small ones. It's been sold in his shop more than 10,000 times. That's why I'm curious.

The packaging is very practical and doesn't take up too much space if you want to go out and bring this snack (usually when you go abroad, it's hard if you miss Indonesian snacks.. hehe)

As shown in the picture, the contents are more or less the same, plus two special spices, such as chili oil and powdered spices. For a size of 11 thousand, I think it contains a lot of 200 grams: there are dry dumplings, dried batagor, batagor tongue, cikur, lime, and baso aci, like in this picture.

Product Flavor and Content

For the spices, cikur, and lime, they are given a separate plastic bag again, maybe so that it's delicious and doesn't mix with the dry ingredients. Especially for baci (baso aci) it's wrapped in a nail, so it's very logical that even if you use a delivery service, for example, it will just arrive tomorrow, the baci won't go stale right away, because proper packaging makes bacteria that spoil quickly, it's not easy to grow.

The contents of the original meatballs were six, but coincidentally what I got was empty, there was one or two meatballs filled with sausage, but it was so small that I couldn't see it, at first I thought it was just the spices that didn't mix well. But even though it's plain, it tastes good and the aci texture isn't too tough.👌

It's easy to make, all you have to do is boil all the ingredients for a while, then add the spices to the bowl, when it's cooked, pour the ingredients that were boiled earlier, and sprinkle the cikur and lime on top. So come on!🤤

The taste is good, when you reach your tongue, the citrus aroma really clicks in your mouth, while the meatball aci which is quite soft doesn't make your jaw work out either, but if you're expecting a spicy gravy, I don't think it's too spicy, so it's perfect for me, who isn't strong enough to be spicy. .

Tapi kalau yang berharap ini kuahnya pedas, kayanya tinggal tambah cabe rawit sendiri beli di warung 😄. Padahal itu pakai minyak cabe, kelihatannya sih merah dan pedas, tapi aslinya nggak sepedas itu.
