Still talking about DIY aka Do It Yourself aka do it yourself what you want, now besides trying to repair the damage to my own house with carpentry, I'm currently excited about gardening again. The fever of ornamental plants lately is booming again, but that's not why I'm passionate about gardening. I love all kinds of plants, but edible plants are more of an option. Actually quite a lot of ornamental plants are also collected ranging from orchids, adenium, ornamental taro, to prickly cactus which according to feng shui should not be planted at home. But vegetable, fruit and spice plants remain the main targets for breeding.

Last year I tried to grow different types of mustard greens, lettuce, chilies and tomatoes, with little success. The first reason is because of the planting media used, I feel that the compost purchased at the gardener is not of good quality and seems to be poor in nutrients. The second cause is a lack of sunlight, generally vegetable plants need full sun or at least 6 hours every day. Because I planted on the terrace, the sunlight didn't last long enough to shine on the plants, as a result, the vegetables grown were thin and not fresh. Some pak choi that I grow in pots in full sunit grows big, but the problem is that there are lots of pests roaming around, ranging from rats, snails without shells to grasshoppers so that the plants are destroyed.
