Review: Royco Mushroom Broth Non Msg

Wow.... now there are more choices of mushroom broth without flavor enhancers... not only Totole mushroom broth (it's been a favorite for years..🤭), it turns out that a brand that is already familiar in the world of cooking also releases a broth version " without MSG". Even though in general, these kind of broths contain MSG, right..😅

There's no problem with MSG either, but personally, as long as there's a kind of broth without MSG, I'll definitely choose this option. It just so happened that Royco was no longer a brand of cans to add to the image of the taste of food, so I was happy to hear that this brand released non-MSG broth.

I buy it at the official store here , it's often discounted, and I just buy it for other kitchen needs, so I practically don't have to queue at the supermarket cashier.

(Royco Mushroom Flavored Broth)

From the packaging, it's green in color, different from the other variant broths that use MSG, the color is red. Whether this is intentionally more "green" because it is more natural or what, I don't understand. But so far, the doff packaging is pretty good.

(without flavor enhancer)

Talking about MSG, Royco deliberately put a very clear description on the front of the package if this is without a flavor enhancer. Maybe it's true, because when I read the composition, there really isn't any kind of glutamate in it. Actually, the mushrooms themselves have actually released a natural flavor enhancer, you know... so there really doesn't need to be any additional flavor enhancers.

The composition, of course, has mushrooms, even though it's only 1%... the rest includes salt, and so on. This broth, judging from the recitation suggestions, is suitable for various clear vegetables, I haven't tried it yet, but for some stir-fried dishes, I've tried this broth.

In the past, Totole mushrooms were excited because they didn't use the halal label (even though it's vegan...so without any animal ingredients, which requires a closer look if there are animal ingredients). For Royco itself comes with a soothing halal label.

As for the nutrients in it, it's also called broth, so you don't have to expect multivitamins in it, okay?... this won't be far from salt. The salt content in Royco is just standard, as shown in the picture:

I think it tastes pretty good, in fact this one tastes more mushroom than that one. And this is in powder form, not granola, so it dissolves more easily in water. Here's how it goes inside:

For the price, it's the same as other mushroom broths (eg Totole), at least a little different. If Royco is around 18 thousand for the size of 170 g. And when compared to other Royco flavors that use MSG, this is 2X.

So, for Royco Mushroom Broth, I have an opinion:

Flavor: 5/5
Price: 5/5
Packaging: 5/5
Buy again: yes
