Review: Mamasuka Spicy Topokki
This seems to be the next snack when I concentrate on writing novels ... hehe At first I didn't know Korean food at all, until one day I suddenly became addicted to Drakor...😝 Drakor had a really bad impact on me, apart from making writing ideas I'm flowing (especially when I'm working on the romance genre), the food that appears in the film immediately makes everyone salivate, I want to try TT
Apart from that, another impact that makes me a hobby is also trying to cook Korean food, although sometimes the authentic taste is guesswork, I hope I can go to Korea to experience the original taste.. Amen (it's really loud). This is one of the recipes that I have published in one of the cooking social media: Korean Chicken Rice Bowl . in my opinion, it tastes good.
So, today I want to review one of the local Korean food products, but it seems to me that it competes with imported products that I've tried.
List of contents :Topokki unboxing
This time I'm interested in trying Spicy Toppoki from the Mamasuka brand, the packaging is on average if the spicy ones are black, yes, like the wraps in this instant Topokki.

The package is quite large, because it contains quite a lot of types, for its own net weight, this instant Topokki is around 134 g. For instant noodles, it might look like a lot when it's cooked, but since it's filled with rice cakes, so it's a little filling, but it might affect the weight, because rice cakes are denser.
The contents are quite complete, all you have to do is cook it, when it's finished, there's no difference from the Topokki, which are usually sold in food stalls using an online application. Our job is to just jump in and out without having to think about combining the spices, because it's already been set by the manufacturer.

Inside, of course, there is a rice cake called Tok, a Korean-style spicy sauce, and sesame seeds. So actually, when it's cooked, you don't need anything else other than just adding water, and after that, you can immediately sprinkle with sesame which is also provided in the package.
Mamasuka instant topokki price
For the price, Mamasuka Spicy Topokki, in my opinion, it's standard, not expensive but not really cheap either, it's adjusted for the same taste, even though it's instant but I said earlier it tasted similar to Korean food outlets in malls- that mall. The price of this instant Topokki is around 17 thousand at the official online store, Mama likes it, and if the price of this Topokki is at Alfamart or at other mini-markets it's also not too cheap, the most expensive is 20 thousand.
At that price, it's still okay to make snacks, but if it's every day, I suggest eating properly, not because I'm afraid of running out but this can also be a heavy meal... hehe because it's very filling, especially for those who are on a diet , because the calories are quite large, around 410 Kcal. Halal Topokki
How to make Topokki is actually easy, because the back of the packaging has also been explained in detail, so basically, all ingredients including the rice cakes and seasonings, except the sesame seeds, are put all in the pot and continue to cook until the gravy really thickens and the cake tastes soft and expand. Once cooked, sprinkle the sesame seeds.

To make it even more delicious, you can also add green onions, or other additions such as odeng, meatballs, or whatever you like. The first time I tasted the taste, what I immediately felt on my tongue was the sweet taste, only after that the spicy taste, if in Indonesia it seems to be a kind of sweet and sour seasoning, yes. because I don't really like sweet tastes, so I thought it was too sweet, maybe from the effect of high-fructose corn syrup that was added to this instant Topokki. but if you like sweet, maybe this is okay.
And for the complementary ingredients, in my opinion, there are quite a lot of sesame seeds, although they don't significantly affect the taste (yes, if you want to taste the sesame, you'd better eat onde-onde ). Oh yes, FYI, it contains 0.07% alcohol in the rice cake, but this product is included in the Halal Topokki category because it already has a halal label, maybe the function of alcohol is for the process (like for example sticky rice tape which likes to have it during Eid or celebrations, maybe it's like that this time, doesn't it have alcohol in it too?)... after eating the food I just saw that the composition contains alcohol . So that it doesn't happen again, for those of you who are doubtful, maybe you can look at the ingredients before eating:

So, for the final result, I have an assessment for Mamasuka Spicy Topokki:
Flavor: 4/4
Price: 4/4
Packaging: 4/4
Buy again: maybe
