Review: Chia-yo Homemade Granola Original Flavor

Another granola... Still curious about the taste of granola, after yesterday I was very satisfied with the granola made by the Mini me brand and it has been reviewed too . Actually, I've seen this Chia-Yo product a lot, but just happened to try it now.

Because I couldn't find a small package, so I just bought a half kilo, it's good for stock at home, even though it's already gone in a matter of days .

From the looks of it, it's similar to the cereals that are widely circulated, the box is big, the box design is also simple, the background is white with green color, and it's already labeled halal plus the distribution permit number is printed. So far, I like the packaging with the illustration of granola in the milk and a picture of the honey. If you look at the picture, this granola should have a honey flavor, right, even though it says original, let's try what kind of original is it...

On the back of the box there is an explanation of how to eat this granola, you can pour it into a bowl and add plain milk or yogurt, or it can be a snack. And guess what, after snacking, you can't stop if you don't remember the price, it really drains the snack budget.. 😂

It's a shame it's in English, it gives the impression that the one who eats this must be fluent in English... Let's go there first! 😂. And this is what I said, the price is almost close to 10 kg of rice, sayyyy..

There is also a complete written not only the price, but also the expiration date. It didn't take long, about 4-5 months since I bought it, because there really aren't any preservatives. So that it doesn't stagnate, thanks for the zipper in the plastic packaging, so you don't have to worry about rubber bands for binding or containers for storing them.

As for the taste, in general I like it, the sweetness is just right, and it's crunchy. How about the oats, almonds, and crispy rice.. And when it's mixed with full cream milk, a strong brown sugar taste appears, basically delicious. Then, because it has raisins and gojiberries, it has a sour taste, so this is perfect for making the sweet taste of sugar and honey not "giung" (very sweet when Sundanese people say).

As for me, I like to add my own cinnamon powder, coz basically I like oats with a cinnamon mix, maybe next time I'll try the cinnamon variant of this Chia-Yo product.

Kalo dipikir-pikir, 90 ribu setara sama jajan di resto cepat saji, dengan makanan penuh lemak, garam, koresterol, la..la..la.. Hmm.. Harga granola yang tadinya berasa mahal banget ini, jadi mendadak worth it 😄.. Kalau ngomongin gaya hidup, memang pilihan ya..sama-sama mahal tapi beda hasil akhirnya 😇. oh ya, toko langganna aku ini, kadang kalo lagi flash sale harganya bisa cuma sekitar 75 ribuan aja.
