Light Fruitcake Recipe & Aussie Fireworks Story

I have never written a single piece of my experience when traveling to Australia at the end of last year on my blog, as if it just happened last month, I can't believe it's been a year since the incident happened. Of the many stories and experiences that I want to write about, there is one funny incident that until now consistently makes me laugh out loud when I remember it. I hope my sister doesn't read this post. 😊

I went to Australia, with my sister, Mbak Wulan, her husband and only son, and my youngest brother, Dimas. Our destination is Sydney and the Gold Coast. I've written about the process of applying for an Aussie visa in a post here, maybe you are interested in getting information about it. We arrived in Sydney close to New Year's Eve, and the fireworks display in this state of New South Wales is famous throughout Aussie and the rest of the world, so my sister was eyeing to see it firsthand. It seemed, perhaps the fireworks celebration was the only event in Sydney that excited him to come to the city. I myself have always been not very fond of, not very interested, not very enthusiastic, watching fireworks displays. What's interesting about hearing an explosion followed by colorful shards of fire in the sky? Okay, call me 'katrok', 'ndeso', and so on, but swear , any spectacular fireworks can't arouse my interest.
