How to Make Sate Taichan Senayan Recipe
Recipe for Sate Taichan Senayan - Sate taichan from a few months ago is indeed one of the hottest street food trends in Jakarta. Especially in the Senayan area.
As far as I know, the first time there was Taichan satay, it was only at the Senayan restaurant. So it's no longer strange that this shiny pale white chicken satay has the nickname Senayan satay.
At first I thought the taichan senayan satay was the same as yakitori aka Japanese chicken satay, klatak satay and Balinese satay wrap. Eh, it's different. The difference lies in the seasoning and the way it is served.

In my opinion, this taichan senayan satay recipe is a type of chicken satay that is easy and very practical to make. Why is that, because the Taichan satay doesn't use peanut sauce a la sate padang, chicken satay and Madura goat, which have tons of seasoning ingredients. Usually, when it comes to satay, it's usually grilled with a spread of sweet soy sauce and peanut sauce.
It's different from this senayan taichan satay recipe, because the taichan satay doesn't use peanut sauce and soy sauce at all. But for marinating chicken, it is enough to use a little vegetable oil, lime juice and seasoning or chicken and beef broth powder. Stir and let stand for a while until the spices absorb, then burn until cooked over coals, Teflon or happy call.

If you want a more medok seasoning, you can add 1 clove of crushed garlic and ground pepper to taste. I really want the satay to have a light taste, but for the strong taste it's more fun with the super spicy Taichan chili seasoning. For the taichan sauce, you can adjust it according to your taste, if I like it, it's super spicy. You could say the level of the devil hihihi.

How to make Sate Taichan in the style of Abang Senayan:
- The first step, cut the chicken into cubes, then coat with lime juice, a little vegetable oil and seasoning (chicken stock powder). Then let stand until the spices seep, about 15 minutes.
- Next, skewer the chicken meat that has been cut into pieces with a skewer of satay (sujen bamboo), then grill until the meat changes color and is cooked. Remove, set aside.
The Process of Making Spicy Taichan Sate Sambal:

Taichan Satay Serving Suggestions:
- First of all, arrange the satay neatly on a serving plate complete with vegetables such as lettuce, cucumber slices, tomato slices, cabbage and basil then serve with sambal separately from the satay.
- Or you can also mix the satay into the chili sauce, then serve it with lalaban complete with pieces of rice cake / ketupat or warm white rice.
- You can add fried onions if you like. Excellent!
Tips for Making Sate Taichan:
- The spiciness of the chili can be adjusted according to taste, so the use of the amount of chili can be adjusted as desired.
- If you don't have a grill, you can use a non-stick flat pan (Teflon) and happy call.
