Meat Gadon Recipe
Even though the name is gadon which means snacks , this dish is more suitable as a side dish. Especially if eaten with clear tamarind vegetables, warm white rice, bacem tofu, and shrimp paste sauce. Delicious!
Ingredients
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Thick coconut milk - 200 ml
- Eggs, beaten - 1 egg
- Curly red chilies, sliced oblique - 3 pieces
- Brown sugar, comb - 1 tsp
- Salt - 1 tbsp
- Cayenne pepper - 6 pieces
- Citrus leaves - 6 pieces
- Bay leaf, torn - 3 pieces
- Banana leaves, for wrapping - to taste
- Sticks / toothpicks - to taste
- Ground spices:
- Shallots - 5 grains
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Candlenut, roasted - 4 grains
- Coriander - 1/2 tsp

Plans
- In a bowl, mix ground beef, eggs, coconut milk, red chili, ground spices, salt and brown sugar. Stir well. Taste test by frying a little dough and then adjust the taste. Divide into 6 parts.
- Take and stack 2 banana leaves. Put 1 lime leaf and salam. Give 1 part of the meat mixture and whole cayenne pepper. Wrap the tum and pin it with a stick / toothpick.
- Steam for 45 minutes until cooked. Lift.
- Ready to be served.
- Use meat that has fat to make it more savory and delicious.
