Spicy lover? Definitely love the fried chicken. Especially with mozzarella topping, so it's even more delicious! Although buying geprek chicken is often an option, it's easy too you know make your own fried chicken at home. Much more economical, and can be used for family meals at home. Follow how to make it.

Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 500 grams
  • Eggs, beaten - 1 egg
  • Water - 200 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt - 1/2 tbsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
  • Right amount of oil
  • Coating Flour:
  • All-purpose flour - 300 grams
  • Garlic powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Toppings:
  • Grated mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
  • Dry parsley (optional) - to taste
  • Onion sauce:
  • Cayenne pepper - 30 pieces
  • Big red chili - 2 pieces
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Hot cooking oil, used for fried chicken - to taste
  • Purchase ingredients and cooking utensils

Plans

  • Wash the chicken breast until clean, cut into 4 parts. Coat the chicken with 1/2 tsp salt, pepper and garlic powder. Marinate 15 minutes until the spices are absorbed.
  • Combine eggs and water in a bowl, mix well. Dip the marinated chicken into the egg and water mixture. After that, immediately roll the chicken into the coating material.
  • Stir in the chicken and flour while pressing gently so that the flour sticks, do this until all the chicken is coated with the coating material.
  • Fry the chicken in deep frying hot oil until cooked and browned, remove and drain.
  • Prepare a mortar, coarsely grind the onion sauce (except oil), don't let it become soft. Pour a little hot oil from fried chicken on the onion sauce, mix well.
  • Geprek chicken on a mortar, and stir with the sambal until evenly distributed.
  • Transfer chicken to a baking sheet, sprinkle with mozzarella cheese and a little dry parsley.
  • Bake at 200°C for 5 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove and ready to serve.
