I always want to stock up on a lot of dry pasta in the pantry , especially if there is a cheap sale in the online shop . Pasta never dies, whatever is processed is great, even for Indonesian-style dishes such as Javanese fried noodles or Medan-style gomak noodles. Unfortunately, dry pasta in my kitchen never lasts long, especially if it's not vermin. Even though the packaging is tightly sealed, somehow these fleas can get in and destroy the contents. If there is already one packet of pasta infected, then you can be sure that all the packages have lice in them. I don't know how much pasta I've wasted because of this.
The best way to store it is in an airtight plastic container, but of course you need a large container if you want to stock a lot. Another way that is also effective is to store it in the refrigerator, either freezer or chiller , but this method takes up space too. Maybe if you have a chest freezer , you will be free to throw dry foodstuffs like this to make them last longer. But I'm still holding back my desire not to buy this type of freezer , I'm afraid that this food hoarding disease will get worse.
